don't get me wrong - i love lentil as anything. even despite that rather rude man who yelled at us on ackland street because in his opinion we didn't give then enough money*.

lentil as anything is not my problem. its the hipsters who acompany lentil as anything that bothers me. it's the gentrification and rising property/rental prices in the area that bother me.

my damn suburb is going to the yuppies.

don't get me started on the st.jeromes laneway festival - which is no longer going to be held anywhere near st.jerones, nor a laneway for that matter.



* we gave then about 70$ for 7 people - all in church money - so i guess it didn't look like much; but nevertheless it was and yelling was certainly not called for.
